  There is a new building on the block, the LUVUT! It's an absolute beautiful  building, completely private. It's a ZULU hut interpretation, with fireplace inside, en-suite bathroom and terrace with fantastic uninterrupted views over the lake. It's not self-catering, beside some tea facility.

Just a short note to say that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Farm and our meals at AfricanSwiss. Our cat settled down very quickly and was quite comfortable at the farmhouse. We have stayed at many different guesthouses and B&Bs and this is the first time that she has settled down so quickly. Regards

We really enjoyed our stay at The Farm. Mike the owner is such a nice, friendly. helpful guy. The Swiss African restaurant which he also owns has the most delicious organic food and is just a couple of minutes walk from the accommodation. We dined there on the two evenings we stayed and thoroughly recommend going there.

I went to hideaway farm for a weekend with my boyfriend from 03-05April 2009, and I have to say that I was impressed. I fell in love with that place. The rates are just unbelievable, such peaceful environment, privacy all the way and did I mention an african swiss resturant on that farm and overlooking the dam. Mike is so friendly and very welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you dearly, you'll be seeing a lot of me.

Comfortable spacious accommodation in the Rondavel.
Peaceful & quiet with a beautiful view of the dam.
The self catering is basic and limited and a microwave should be considered. (There is one now!)
The restaurant has a good menu and the owner will prepare special meals if requested.

The Farm was great for the weekend. Stayed in the rondavels - we were not bugged by noise or people. I would definitly book a weekend at the Farm again.
It was comfortable and was well equiped with self catering goodies.
